The Eurosong 2024 entries will be revealed from January 8th.
The six songs that will be competing in Ireland’s national final for Eurovision 2024, will be revealed from January 8th on the Ray D’Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1 between 15:00 and 16:30 GMT.
The date of Eurosong 2024 has not yet been confirmed yet, nor has the format that the show will take. In previous years, Ireland has used The Late Late Show as their national final, with all the competing acts performing during the show.

Last years winner of Eurosong Wild Youth, took “We Are One” to Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool, where they finished in 12th place with 10 points. This marked the fourth consecutive year that Ireland didn’t manage to qualify to the Eurovision final.
Eurovision 2024 will be returning to Sweden for a seventh time after Loreen achieved her second Eurovision victory in 2023 with “Tattoo”. The contest will take place in Malmö on May 7th, 9th and 11th at Malmö Arena.
Ireland will find out which semi final they are performing in on January 30th at 19:00 CET, when the semi final allocation draw is expected to take place. It will be hosted by Pernilla Månsson Colt and Farah Abadi, with the venue to be revealed in due course.
