Eliza Borg is Malta's representative for Junior Eurovision 2025.
After winning The Voice Kids Malta, 12 year old Eliza Borg has now become Malta’s Junior Eurovision 2025 representative.
The final of The Voice Kids in Malta took place yesterday evening, with six artists competing:
- Eliza Borg
- Mia Lanzon
- Rachele Maria Nistica
- Marie Emeh Camilleri
- Carly Cachia Arpa
- Oliver Zammit Attard
The final was split into two rounds. Round one saw the six finalists perform their audition song, with each coach (Gianluca Bezzina, Destiny and Sarah Bonnici) selecting one finalist from their team to advance to the second round. In this second round, the superfinal, the top three finalists performed a duet with their coach, and the song that they intend to take to Junior Eurovision 2025. The winner was decided by 100% public vote.
Further details on the song that Eliza Borg will bring to Junior Eurovision 2025 are expected to be revealed at a later date.
Malta was represented by Ramires Sciberras at Junior Eurovision 2024, who sang his song “stilla ċkejkna”. With an 8th place jury finish 3rd place in the online vote, Ramires finished the night in 5th place, earning Malta’s first top five placing since 2018.
