Dutch National Final auditions for Junior Eurovision 2021 have begun

On the 26th of April, Junior Songfestival, the Dutch Junior Eurovision National Final posted on Instagram that the next round of auditions were planned to continue on the 30th of April, and they will last for a couple of weeks. The official videos of the event will be available on Junior Songfestvial’s Youtube channel and its official website.

There are 30 contestants in total, and already ten of them participated today. The jury panel for the auditions was also announced; vocal coach Charlotte, and the duo Mylene & Rosanne, who won Junior Songfestival in 2013 and represented their country in the Junior Eurovision that year with the song: “Double Me”. They finished in eighth place in the European contest.

Since 2018, Junior Songfestival has taken place on the last Saturday of September. Last year’s winners of this national final, and the Dutch participants in Warsaw, were girl group Unity with the song “Best Friends”. They finished in fourth place, and achieved The Netherlands third top 4 placing in the last 4 years.
