It has been confirmed that Duncan Laurence will be performing at Eurosong 2023.
Belgian broadcaster Eén, have announced that Eurovision 2019 winner Duncan Laurence will be performing in the final of Eurosong on January 14th, 2023.
Eurosong returns in 2023 for the first time since 2016. A total of seven acts will perform one song in the final on January 14th at Palais 12 in Brussels. The winner will be determined by a mix of jury and public votes.
In the week leading up to the Eurosong 2023 final, Belgian broadcaster VRT will air five pre-recorded episodes in which all of the acts will perform their two songs Eurosong entries in front of all the other acts. At the end, they will decide which of the two songs to perform in the final.
Duncan Laurence rose to fame when he brought The Netherlands their fifth Eurovision win with “Arcade” in 2019. Since then, he has gone on to release more music, with his debut album reaching top 10 in November 2020, and has toured across The Netherlands and beyond.
In 2022, Duncan joined the judging panel for the sixth season of The Voice Kids Belgium, going on to become the winning coach.
In October 2022, he teamed up with Eurovision alumni Rosa Linn, and together, they released WDIA (Would Do It Again).
