Dominik Arim is headed to Madrid this November for Poland!
Poland have decided – Dominik Arim will represent them at Junior Eurovision 2024 with the song “All Together”, after winning Poland’s Junior Eurovision national final Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior on Sunday afternoon.
A total of five acts competed in the final, with each act singing a Eurovision song. After all of the performances, there was a mix of jury voting and public voting, where the top two scoring acts advanced to the second round of the final. Aleksandra Antoniak and Dominik Arim both advanced to the last stage of the final where they perform Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2024 song “All Together”. 100% televoting determined the winner.
11 year old Dominik Arim becomes the first boy to represent Poland at Junior Eurovision since the country first debuted in 2003.
He currently resides in Pomerania, Northwest Poland, where he attends the Witold Lutosławski Music School in Starogard Gdanski. Alongside singing, he is currently learning the Trumpet and Piano. Dominik also developed his dancing skills in the band Szalone Małolaty. Aside from singing and dancing, Dominik enjoys playing football, helping his parents in the garden, playing with his sister Julia and his dog Butek and doing Karate, in which he’s earned an orange belt.
Poland made their debut at the very first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. After two last place finishes, they withdrew from the contest, and didn’t return until 2016, when their fortunes turned around. Since their return, they have won the contest twice, in 2018 and 2019 with Roxie Węgiel and Viki Gabor respectively, and have achieved a further three left side finishes. Poland hosted Junior Eurovision in 2019 and 2020.
Junior Eurovision 2024 will mark Poland’s 12th participation in the contest that will be taking place at Caja Mágica in Madrid, Spain, on November 16th. A total of 17 countries will be participating, including two returning countries: Cyprus and San Marino, who last participated in 2017 and 2015 respectively.
