The hosts of Junior Eurovision 2025 have been announced.
It has been confirmed that David Aladashvili and Liza Tsiklauri will be the hosts of the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia on December 13th.
David Aladashvili is a host on a variety of music programmes on Georgian Broadcaster GPB, and also serves as the Artistic Director of the Tbilisi National Youth Palace. In addition to his television presenting career, David is also an accomplished musician. At age 11 he started to learn the piano and at age 15, he was admitted into the prestigious Tbilisi Special Music School, where he received Georgia’s Presidential Scholarship for Piano Performance. David took his musicality and piano skills abroad when he studied at The Juilliard School in New York City.
Liza Tsiklauri is a television presenter and journalist, whose journalism career began in 2008. Since 2014, Liza has been anchoring news programmes in Georgia. She has hosted not only Georgian television programmes, but international programmes too, including: New Year’s Eve gala concerts, the EuroBasket 2022 opening ceremony, and the Honorary Citizen of Tbilisi awards ceremony, among many others.
Junior Eurovision 2025 will take place in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi on Saturday 13th December at The Olympic Palace. This marks the second time that the country will play host to Junior Eurovision, the first being in 2017. A total of 18 countries will be competing, with these 18 countries including three returnees – Azerbaijan, Croatia and Montenegro, who last participated in 2021, 2014 and 2015 respectively.
