Damir Kedžo is a Croatian pop and pop-folk singer. While he started his career in 2003 by participating in Story Super Nova Music Talent Show, he became even more famous in Croatia after winning the third season of Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, the Croatian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar. He also performed in musicals. Last year he won Dora 2020 but, as we all know, he couldn’t represent Croatia due the epidemics last year.
Croatian pop star Damir Kedžo has a new summer hit, “Vatra I Led”, meaning “Fire and Ice”. It is a big Croatian hit of the group Colonia written by the founder of this dance group Boris Đurđević, has been revived.
Although this song is ubiquitous on the Croatian radio airwaves, it has now received a real club treat. Goran Kovačić and Vrisak Studio are responsible for the new dimension, and what has also been refreshed is the visual stamp.
Fire and ice are two opposing elements that together, regardless of their differences, can form one, and in this way the video that wins at first sight is shown. Along with the great Kedža, the beautiful Iva Knežević also appears in the video.
“Actually, ‘Fire and Ice’ was my wish because that song is great for me and it reminds me of my childhood, that is, the time when we were all crazy about Colonia. I always love projects that are creative and that allow me to go beyond any of my music genres. At least this turned out to be quite close to my wishes. When you have such an opportunity to record something new and different, since I am very curious, I always say yes “, says Kedžo, who recorded the vocals for this song in just 15 minutes.
Fire and Ice are separated by a pillar of life, but they are connected by emotions. Which of them is fire, and which is ice, let everyone judge for themselves. Does this song make you guys feel more like cold or hot inside?
