Eurovision Song Contest 2016 Australian representative Dami Im will be competing in the new season of Celebrity MasterChef Australia this year.

The Sound of Silence songstress and jury winner in 2016 will have to set her pipes to rest as she hits the kitchen and try to whip out nine other competitors which include actors Rebecca Gibney, Matt Le Nevez, and Dilruk Jayasinha, athletes Nick Riewoldt, Archie Thompson and Ian Thorpe, fashion designer Colette Dinnigan, and TV presenters Chrissie Swan and Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay who happens to be the Gordon Ramsay’s daughter.

The culinary prowess of these celebrities will be put to test in trying to impress judges Melissa Leong, Andy Allen and Jock Zonfrillo which is set to premiere this July.

Dami Im with her heartfelt power ballad, won the hearts of Europe in 2016 after she delivered a flawless performance and belted high notes which earned the best result for Australia so far, when she landed in second place overall in Sweden. The song also bagged the Marcel Bezençon Award that year in the composer category.
