Czechia: Seven finalists to perform at ESCZ 2024

Finalists announced ahead of Monday's live show in Prague

Last month, the Czech national broadcaster Česká Televize (ČT) revealed that they would be deciding their entry for Eurovision 2024 through the popular national final known as ESCZ. To many Eurovision fan’s delight, it was also announced that for the first time ESCZ 2024 would be held with a live audience in attendance. 

Speculation has been in the air over which artists will be competing? and how many finalists will be selected for ESCZ 2024? These questions have finally been answered as it has now been revealed that seven artists will compete at ESCZ 2024, all of which will be in the running to represent Czechia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

The seven finalists of ESCZ 2024 are:

  • Aiko
  • Elly
  • Gianna Lei
  • Lenny
  • MYDY
  • Tom Sean
  • Tomas Robin

The seven finalists above share a wide variety of musical styles and genres, as well as all having thorough song-writing & performing experience, which has clearly caught the eye of the Czech delegation. A fierce and exciting competition is therefore guaranteed for ESCZ 2024, this of which will be one of the first national finals to take place for the forthcoming Eurovision season. It is also believed that the seven songs that the finalists will sing will not be released until the day of the national final on December 4th.

Aiko, Elly, Gianna Lei, Lenny, MYDY, Tom Sean, and Tomas Robin, will all compete in the ESCZ 2024 live show on Monday December 4th at the Roxy Club in Prague at 20:15 CET. The national final will be hosted live by Adam Mišík and Cesár Sampson on Monday evening, showcasing all seven finalists who will battle it out for their chance to represent Czechia at Eurovision 2024.

A live broadcast will be available to watch on Monday via Česká Televize or on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel. As the excitement starts to build ahead of Monday, all will be revealed as to who will represent Czechia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
