Dora 2024 will be comprised of one semi final and one grand final.
It has been confirmed that next years edition of Dora will have one semi final, along with one grand final. This will mark the first time since 2010 that Dora will have a semi final.
This news has been confirmed to Croatian newspaper Vecernji List, by the editor for Dora, Tomislav Štengl, who explains that the increased interest in Dora has resulted in the need and want for more shows next year.
“Apparently, the work on Dora paid off, which means that the interest of authors and performers is increasing. We have a record number of applications, as well as quality songs. This is one of the reasons why we have a semi-final this year. there will be even more evenings, gossip, tension, and therefore Dora is growing.”
This news comes just days after the final list of the competing acts, and their song titles, were released. A total of 25 acts will be competing in next years edition of Dora, which include returning artists Alen Đuras; Barbara Munjas; Boris Štok; Damir Kedžo; Let 3, and The Splitters.
The exact dates of Dora 2024 have not yet been confirmed, but as in previous years, the two shows are likely to take place in February 2024 at its usual home in Optaija, Western Croatia.
