Buč Kesidi disqualified from Pesma za Evroviziju 2025

Buč Kesidi will no longer be participating in this years Pesma za Evrovizija.

Serbian broadcaster RTS have confirmed that the group Buč Kesidi have been qualified from Pesma za Evrovizija 2025. They have been replaced by the group Maršali (The Marshals) and their song “Po policama sećanja” (“On The Shelves Of Memories”.)

The reason for Buč Kesidi’s disqualification is that their Pesma za Evrovizija entry “Tužne ljubavi” (“Sad Love”) has previously been performed at the Sea Star Festival in Umag, Croatia, at the end of May 2024, as RTS discovered upon talking to the authors of the song. This is in breach of the rules of the Eurovision Song Contest, which states that all songs competing in the 2025 contest cannot have been released or performed before September 1st, 2024.

The line-up for Pesma za Evrovizija 2025 is now as follows:

  • Milan Nikolić i banda – Storia del amor
  • Bojana x David – Šesto čulo
  • Iskaz – Trendseter
  • Tanja Banjanin – Ja sam bolja
  • Princ – Mila
  • Biber – Da mi se vratiš
  • Nataša Kojić – Up and Down
  • Kruz Roudi – Sve i odmah
  • SEDLAR – Oči boje zemlje
  • Jelena Pajić – Kameleon
  • Nikola Antonijević Anton – U grad

Pesma za Evrovizija 2025 will be comprised on two semi finals and one final. 15 acts will compete in each semi final on January 25th and 27th. Eigh acts from each semi final will advance to the final which is expected to take place on March 1st.

Teya Dora is the most recent winner of Pesma za Evrovizija. She went on to represent Serbia at Eurovision 2024 with her song “Ramonda”. She qualified to the final where she finished in 17th place with 54 points.
