In a pivotal draw that sets the stage for the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, the Big 5 countries—France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom—have learned their respective placements in the running order for the highly anticipated event on May 11th.

After their second rehearsals at Malmö Arena on Saturday, May 4th, representatives from these automatic qualifiers were granted the opportunity to randomly select their performance half—either First Half, Second Half, or a slot designated by the producers. This draw, conducted via an allocation process on Reddit, added an extra layer of excitement and anticipation to the forthcoming Grand Final.

The outcomes of this crucial draw are as follows:

🇫🇷 France – Second Half
🇩🇪 Germany – First Half
🇮🇹 Italy – Producer’s Choice
🇪🇸 Spain – Producer’s Choice
🇬🇧 United Kingdom – First Half

These determinations are bound to impact the pacing and dynamics of the evening, influencing the overall flow of the competition. Each country’s performance slot can significantly affect their visibility, momentum, and strategic advantage within the Grand Final.

The procedural aspects of this draw build upon the earlier position selection made by Host Country Sweden at the Head of Delegations meeting held in March. During this meeting, Marcus & Martinus were designated to open the Grand Final, performing first on the night—an exhilarating and responsibility-laden role for the hosts.

With the full running order set to be unveiled on the morning of Friday, May 10th, the Eurovision Song Contest buzz is reaching its peak. Fans and contestants alike eagerly anticipate the final lineup, which promises to be a thrilling spectacle of musical talent and cultural celebration.
