Benidorm Fest 2022 semi-finals running orders revealed

Benidorm Fest 2022 is getting closer and closer. The grand final will be on 29th January, but before that, the artists will have to fight for their place in one of the two semi-finals, held on 26th and 27th January. This afternoon, RTVE has revealed the distribution of the artists in these semi-finals and the order of performance. In addition, they have also advanced details about the stage and the tickets.

The first semi-final will feature performances by:

  1. Luna Ki – “Voy a morir”
  2. Varry Brava – “Raffaella”
  3. Azúcar Moreno – “Postureo”
  4. Blanca Paloma – “Secreto de agua”
  5. Unique – “Mejores”
  6. Tanxungueiras – “Terra”
  7. Chanel – “SloMo”


The second semi-final will feature performances by:

  1. Xeinn – “Eco”
  2. Marta Sango – “Sigues en mi mente”
  3. Javiera Mena – “Culpa”
  4. Gonzalo Hermida – “Quién lo diría”
  5. Rigoberta Bandini – “Ay, mamá”
  6. Rayden – “Calle de la llorería”
  7. Sara Deop – “Make you say”

When and how will the shows be?

 The three shows will be broadcast on RTVE’s main channel, La1, at 22:40 (CET). The semi-finals on Wednesday 26th and Thurdsay 27th January will last 70 minutes (22:40 h. – 23:50 h.). The grand final on Saturday 29th will last 90 minutes (22:40 h. – 00:10 h.).

 Voting will be carried out through a mixed system: professional jury (divided into international jury and national jury) and public (divided into televoting and demoscopic jury composed of 350 people chosen according to statistical values). A total of eight artists, four for each semi-final, will reach the grand final on Saturday and fight for victory. The winner of Benidorm Fest 2022 will have the honor of representing Spain at the next Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.

 The stage will be located in the Palacio de Deportes L’Illa, an area with more than 3,000 m². The stage will be divided into two platforms of 450 and 300 m², a space equipped with high-resolution mobile LED screens, state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment. For the realization, the format will have an HD mobile unit, which will allow the realization with 14 cameras, an auxiliary mobile unit, a recording unit and two link units. A great technical and human deployment in which more than 200 professionals work.

How to get your ticket for the Benidorm Fest?

 RTVE has also announced that tickets for Benidorm Fest 2022 will be free. A part of the tickets can be purchased through the website, while another part of the tickets will be distributed by the governments of the Generalitat Valenciana and the Benidorm City Council, so that not only Eurovision fans and artists’ fans will enjoy the show on live, but also the people of the city of Benidorm and surroundings.

Tickets will be available when RTVE has a confirmation of the exact capacity according to local sanitary measures.
