Belgium: Snippets released of 14 Eurosong 2023 songs

Belgian broadcaster VRT have released the 14 snippets of the songs taking part in Eurosong 2023.

The national final consists of 7 artists, sending 2 songs each. The artists and song titles are:

  • Ameerah – “The Carnival” & “Armageddon”
  • Chérine – “Ca m’ennuie pas” (It doesn’t bother me) & “Mon étoile” (My star)
  • gala dragot – “emotion ollie” & “t‘inquiète” (don’t worry)
  • Gustaph – “Because of You” & “The Nail”
  • Hunter Falls – “Home” & “Ooh La La”
  • Loredana – “I Dream in Colours” & “You Lift Me Up”
  • The Starlings – “Oceanside” & “Rollercoaster”

The live final will take place in the Palais 12 in Brussels on January 14, hosted by Peter Van de Veire. A combination of juries and a public vote will decide who represents Belgium at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool. 

This is the first time Belgium have used Eurosong to select their Eurovision entry since 2016, with Laura Tesoro and “What’s The Pressure“. 

In 2022, Belgium came 19th with Jérémie Makiese and his song “Miss You” scoring 64 points.
