The official lyric video for "Lose My Head" has been released by the BBC.

The United Kingdom’s Junior Eurovision 2022 entry “Lose My Head” has been written and produced by Jack Hawitt, Amber Van Day and Deepend, and will be sung by 13 year old Freya Skye.

The song (and its official music video) were released just last week, on November 3rd. And now, the official lyric video, which has been illustrated by David Kitson from kaleid | Creative Studio, has been released.

The lyric video takes inspiration from the original Alice in Wonderland, with the stoyline focusing on twin sisters The Queen of Hearts and The Queen of Spades living together happily. However, tensions soon rise, and divisions build, all from a simple game of chess.

The BBC officially announced the return of the United Kingdom to Junior Eurovision on August 25th, 2022, and soon after, confirmed they would have an internal selection to find their representative.

The United Kingdom’s Junior Eurovision 2022 participation will be their first in 17 years, having previously participated in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
