Dame Joana Lumley to deliver United Kingdom's jury points at the Eurovision 2024 final on May 11th.
British actress, presenter and former model, Dame Joanna Lumley, has been announced as the United Kingdom’s spokesperson for Eurovision 2024. The news was announced by Graham Norton on tonight’s episode of The One Show.
“I am delighted to be announcing the jury vote for the UK at this year’s Eurovision. It’s such a fabulous honour to give the iconic ‘douze points’!”
Dame Joanna Lumley follows in the footsteps of fellow famous Brits in reading out the United Kingdom’s votes at Eurovision, some of which include: AJ Odudu, Catherine Tate, Nigella Lawson, Katrina Leskanich (of Katrina & The Waves) and Cheryl Baker (of Bucks Fizz) among many others. has now become the 15th spokesperson to be announced for Eurovision 2024.

Who is Dame Joana Lumley?
Dame Joana Lumley, who was born in Srinigar, British India, is a British actress, presenter, former model, author, television producer and activist, whose career started out in the 1960s as a model. At the very end of the 1960s and going into the 1970s, Joanna branched out into acting, something which she continues to do until this day.
Her most notable acting roles include Patsy Stone in Absoloutley Fabulous; The New Avengers; Sapphire & Steel; Jam & Jerusalem and James & The Giant Peach, among many others. In more recent years, Joanna has been quite active as a television presenter, and having many of her own travelling shows, including: Joanna Lumley’s India, Silk Road Adventure, Great City’s of The World and Spice Trail Adventure, among others.
