Rosa Linn has released her Eurovision 2022 entry called “Snap” which will represent Armenia in Turin.
With this reveal, the line up for Semi Final 1 of Eurovision 2022 is now complete.
"Snap" lyrics:
It’s 4 am
I can’t turn my head off
Wishin’ these memories would fade
They never do
Turns out people lie
They say, “Just snap your fingers”
As if it was really that easy for me to get over you
I just need time
Snapping one, two
Where are you?
You’re still in my heart
Snapping three, four
Don’t need you here anymore
Get out of my heart
‘Cause I might snap
I’m writing a song
Said, “This is the last one”
How many last songs are left?
I’m losing count
Since June twenty-second
My heart’s been on fire
I was spending my nights in the ring
Tryna put it out
So I’m snapping one, two
Where are you?
You’re still in my heart
Snapping three, four
Don’t need you here anymore
Get out of my heart
‘Cause I might snap
Oh-oh-oh-ooh
‘Cause I might snap
Oh-oh-oh-ooh
And if one more person says, “You should get over it”
Oh, I might stop talking to people before I snap, snap, snap
Oh, I might stop talking to people before I snap
Snapping one, two
Where are you? (Where are you?)
You’re still in my heart (Still in my heart)
Snapping three, four
Don’t need you here anymore (Need you here anymore)
Get out of my heart
‘Cause I might snap
Oh-oh-oh-ooh (Snap)
‘Cause I might snap
Oh-oh-oh-ooh (Snap)
Get out of my heart
Oh-oh-oh-ooh
‘Cause I might snap
Oh-oh-oh-ooh (Get out of my heart, get out of my)
‘Cause I might snap
Armenia at Eurovision
Rosa Linn will be the 14th artist to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest. The Caucasus nation debuted in 2006 with André and his song “Without Your Love” which came 8th in Athens. Armenia have managed to reached the top 10 at Eurovision 6 more times after that, with the best result coming in 2008 with Sirusho and her song “Qélé, Qélé“, which came 4th.
Armenia’s last official entry (excluding 2020) was in 2019 wit Srbuk and her song “Walking Out“. She sadly failed to qualify for the final, instead receiving 16th place in the semi finals, Armenia’s worse result at the contest.
While initially scheduled to take part in the 2021 contest, Armenia had to withdraw from the contest due to the social and political crises in the aftermath of the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war. Armenia’s return to the contest was announced when the list of participating countries was revealed in October last year.
During their time away from the main contest, Armenia managed to win Junior Eurovision in 2021 when 14 year old Maléna took home the victory with her song “Qami Qami“.
