The streak of success for 2019 Eurovision Song Contest victor Duncan Laurence and his multi-platinum certified hit Arcade does not seem to settle yet as it has managed to find its way to popularity in the United States where it entered the Billboard Hot 100 this week, following his performance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last week.

The 27 year-old singer-songwriter performed on the Ellen show alongside American singer Fletcher on April 6.

Prior to performing on the Ellen Show, he also performed the song on The Today Show in March. Furthermore, the song also went viral on social media platform TikTok in the middle of 2020, boosting its popularity on other streaming platforms. The start of this year was very successful for the song when it became the most streamed Eurovision song on Spotify in January.

Moreover, this is also the first time since 1996 that a Eurovision song has managed to chart on the US Billboard, following UK’s entry Ooh Aah…Just a Little Bit performed by Gina G, that landed in eighth place in the contest the same year and peaking at No. 12 on the Billboard Charts.
