The Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, responsible for Switzerland's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, has already opened the submission window for next year's edition of the Festival, to be held in Italy. Those interested in representing the country may submit their entries until September 15th.
The choice of the Swiss representative for ESC 2022 will be in charge of two panels of judges: a panel composed of 100 members of the public (50% of the decision) and the other panel composed of 20 international experts (50% of the decision).
Switzerland is the "cradle" of the Eurovision Song Contest. Country that won the European competition for the first time, currently has two victories (1956 and 1988). In 2021, the country was represented by Gjon's Tears, with the song "Tout L’univers", which finished in 3rd place.
