Alex Panayi will be working with Tural and Turan from Azerbaijan for Eurovision 2023.
Greek-Cypriot singer, songwriter, composer, producer and vocal coach Alex Panayi will be joining the Azerbaijani delegation for this years Eurovision Song Contest as vocal coach for TuralTuranX.
This year will not be the first that Alex has worked with the Azerbaijani delegation at Eurovision; He has previously worked with Farid Mammadov in 2013, Dihaj in 2017 and Aisel in 2018. He even worked with Fidan Huseynova at Junior Eurovision 2018.
Aside from Azerbaijan, Alex has worked with multiple artists from countries across Europe, either as a vocal coach, vocal director or stage director for their Eurovision performance.
Alex has worked as a vocal director for Helena Paparizou in 2005; Anna Vissi in 2006; Sakis Rouvas in 2009; Litesound in 2012; Farid Mammadov and Alyona Lanskaya in 2013; the Tolmachevy Twins and Teo in 2014; Uzari in 2015; Sergey Lazarev in 2016 and 2019; Demy and Dihaj in 2017; Aisel, Alekseev and Doredos in 2018.
Alex himself has represented his country Cyprus at Eurovision on two occassions – in 1995 with his self-penned track “Sti fotia” and again in 2000, when he performed “Nomiza” alongside Christina Argyri as the duo Voice.
