Germany will participate in the junior Eurovision Song Contest this year for the second time, this time with a different selection method.
Last year they selected their entry internally, with a professional jury selecting one act, but this year they will have a live selection process with a public voting system.
This selection will take place in a show called “Junior ESC – Who goes to Paris?” in the studio of broadcasters KIKA and NDR, on September 10. Young talents aged between of 9 to 14 could apply until June 25.
Now the broadcaster has revealed the 5 acts to go through to the next phase of the process, the online voting, in which those candidates can be voted for until August 1st. The top 3 talents will be invited to the live show. The 5 acts are Marta, Anjali, Yike, Pauline and Emilie.
What do you think of these 5 acts? Can Germany have a good result with this new selection method? Let us now in the comments below.
