Tonight: Sweden and Portugal chose their Eurovision 2024 representatives

Sweden and Portugal are set to chose their Eurovision 2024 representatives tonight.

Tonight will see Sweden and Portual chosing their representatives for Eurovision 2024 on what is the last night of national final season 2024. After tonight, we are just waiting for the artists and/or songs from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Israel, as well as the revamped Albanian entry.

Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2024 final

The final of this years Melodifestivalen is finally upon us, and we are one step closer to finding out who will representing Sweden on home soil at this years contest in Malmö. 12 acts will be competing in tonights show live from Friends Arena in Stockholm, with the final results being decided by 50% televoting and 50% jury voting.

  8. Dotter – “It’s Not Easy to Write You a Love Song”
  9. Medina – “Que Sera”
  10. Liamoo – “Dragon”
  11. Jacquline – “Effortless”
  12. Danny Saucedo – “Happy That You Found Me”

The show will take place live from 20:00 to 22:00 CET. You can watch the final on stvplay, or the official SVT apps for Android and Apple.

Portugal: Festival da Canção 2024 final

After two semi finals, Portugal is ready to decide who they would like to represent them at this years Eurovision Song Contest. 12 acts will be competing in the final at RPT Studios in Lisbon, with the final results being decided by 50% televoting and 50% jury voting. Vasco Palmeirim and Filomena Cautela will be hosting the show, whilst Inês Lopes Gonçalves will be the green room host.

The show will begin at 22:00 CET and is expected to finish around 01:30 CET. You can watch the show live on RTP1RTP International and the RTP Android and Apple apps.
