ESC 2025: Core Project Team Announced

On 9th December, The Roop announced on their Instagram account that they are the most searched artist in Lithuania of 2020, and lead singer Vaidotas Valiukevičius was the 5th most searched person on Google.
The Roop are pop rock band formed in 2014 from Vilnius, Lithuania.
The group consist of three members:
The group has released two albums: To Whom It May Concern in 2015 and Ghosts in 2017, plus the extended play Yes, I Do in 2018. The Roop won their National Selection in Lithuania in 2020 to earn their spot at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam with On Fire, but due to the ongoing pandemic the contest got cancelled. However, they haven’t given up and will try to earn their spot in the new selection in Lithuania in 2021.
