Spain will celebrate an Eurovision PreParty online on 24th April

| March 25, 2021

Spain will celebrate for the second consecutive year an online Eurovision PreParty thanks to, the most important website on Eurovision Song Contest in Spanish language and organizers of the PrePartyES Madrid. The team maintains the online format devised last year due to the health situation. The appointment will be next 24th April at 22:00 CET.

The artists of Eurovision 2021 will have a meeting place with fans to sing their songs before traveling, if sanitary conditions allow, to Rotterdam. The PrePartyES 2021 will be the only promotional event for Eurovision 2021 contestants.

This year’s edition wants to highlight the debuts of the participating countries. These first participations are a faithful reflection of the History of Europe and of how Eurovision Song Contest has evolved since its foundation in 1956. There will be a special mention for Spain, which this year celebrates the 60th anniversary of its debut.

The identity of the presenter as well as the artists will be revealed over the next four weeks. The Eurovision-Spain team guarantees surprises from the hand of invited Eurovision artists. Last year, PrePartyES online brought together 21 contestants of Eurovision 2020 as well as artists like Barei, Krista Siegfrids, Lucía Pérez, Melani, Soraya and Zlata Ognevich.

Free entry and donations welcome

The event can be watched on the website and on YouTube for free, although the organization accepts donations for the maintenance of its website and to recover the cost of canceling the PrePartyES 2020.

Eurovision-Spain is in a very critical situation as a result of the pandemic. In addition to the cancellation of the PrePartyES 2020 scheduled for last spring in Madrid, with the consequent economic damage, is added the stoppage of all its monthly events for more than a year. All this has led their web to suffer a great drop in advertising investment that all digital media suffer.

After a year of enormous spending and practically no income, Eurovision-Spain has decided to make this reality public and request a totally voluntary help from the Eurofan community.

From the Eurovoxx team we congratulate Eurovision-Spain Team for this project and we give them our greatest support in this difficult moment for them. We still remember the great moment we lived at their party in Madrid two years ago. One of our readers’ favorite moments was the interview with Tulia from Poland.
