
Sofia Feskova has won the ticket to Junior Eurovision 2020! She will represent Russia with her song “Moy Novyy Den” (My New Day).
Russia’s national final for Junior Eurovision 2020 took place tonight in Moscow. A total of 11 acts took to the stage in the hopes of becoming Russia’s next Junior Eurovision participant. Sofia was declared the winner by a mix of 50% televoting and 50% jury voting. The full breakdown of the voting will be revealed when the show is broadcast on Saturday 26th September.
The jury, responsible for half of the overall votes, was made up of Alla Krutaya, television presenter; Alexey Vorobyov (Eurovision 2011); Lena Laktina (Eurovision 2003 as part of t.A.T.u); Mikhail Smirnov (Junior Eurovision 2015); Polina Bogusevich (Junior Eurovision 2017); Tatyana Tsyvareva, editor in chief of Karusel TV and Yulia Savicheva (Eurovision 2004).
