Sheppard explores alternative perspective of relationships with new single “Lazy Love”

| August 10, 2020

Can love be unconditional?

Sheppard is an award-winning Australian indie-pop band from Brisbane established in 2009. They are famous for their fun and upbeat-music and their new single does not disappoint!

Titled “Lazy Love”, the song describes a scenario where one person commits more effort to sustain a relationship despite being cold-shouldered by his/her significant half. The lyrics were inspired after the band witnessed how comfortable an old friend feels about committing unconditional love to a woman who clearly did not feel the same way.

Sheppard and Eurovision

Sheppard participated in the inaugural Eurovision Australia Decides 2019 with the song “On My Way” and ultimately came in 3rd with 87 points.

Eurovision Australia Decides is an annual song competition organised by Australian broadcaster SBS and Blink TV to determine the country’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest.
