“Every month, a song from the history of the Eurovision Song Contest is reinterpreted by Senhit, becoming not a simple video clip, but a real work of art.”
On October 31st at 23:59, Senhit will release her new cover song from her #FreakyTripToRotterdam series. This time, she is taking us all back to 2014 as she sings “Rise Like A Phoenix” by Conchita Wurst. The video will be released on Senhit’s official YouTube channel.

Once again, Senhit will pay homage to an icon, whilst focusing on the value of freedom of expression, and making us all reflect on the rights of every human being, with an eye to LGBTQ+ rights. This homage will be reflected in the official music video, in which Senhit has worked with Luca Tommassini to bring her vision to life.
This will not be the first time that Senhit and Luca have worked together. In January 2020, they worked together on Senhit’s song “Breathe”, which can still be heard on the radio now, as well as “Dark Room” which was released in 2019 and her Eurovision 2020 entry “Freaky”.
Senhit’s cover of Rise Like A Phoenix will be the fifth cover song she has done so far in her #FreakyTripToRotterdam series. She has previously covered “Cheesecake” by Teo, “Everyway That I Can” by Sertab Erener, “Ding-A-Dong” by Teach In and “Congratulations” by Cliff Richard.
