Searching for Poland’s best voice! Cleo is turning her red chair in The Voice Kids 2020

On the 25th of August 2020, the official Facebook page of The Voice Kids Poland announced that Cleo, Poland’s 2014 representative, will once again be a part of the jury of the famous television show in 2021. The show is going to be broadcast from February 27th until April 24th 2021 on the Polish channel TVP 2.

This will be her third time judging the talented kids and teenagers from Poland. She managed to win the show as a judge once, in her debut season in 2019 with the young Pawel Szymanski. Cleo was a judge on series 2, the same series that saw Junior Eurovision 2019 winner, Viki Gabor, participating.

Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest

In 1994 Poland debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest with Edyta Gorniaks song To Tie Ja! which finnished second. 1994 still marks Poland’s best ever result in Eurovision. From 1994 to 2011, Poland only missed the 2000 and 2002 contests. As Poland has never won the contest they have never hosted it either. Apart from the second place in 1994, Poland has twi other top ten placements, in 2003 the band Ich Troje finnished seventh and in 2016 Michal Szpak finnished eigth with his song Colour Of Your Life. Some of Poland’s most memorable entries include We Are Slavic (2014) and Flashlight (2017). Alicja was selected to represent Poland at Eurovision 2020 before the contest got cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
