Spain's Junior Eurovision 2024 representative to be revealed in the coming days.

In less than one week, we will have our fifth confirmed act for this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest, as Spain are set to reveal their representative on Thursday 18th July.

The host country of this years contest has once again opted for an internal selection to find their singer and song for Junior Eurovision, and this year, they have received over 300 submissions. Ahead of the reveal on July 18th, Spanish broadcaster RTVE will hold a final, in-person casting on July 16th.

The song that the winning act/s will go to Junior Eurovision 2024 with will also be selected internally, and will be expected to be released in the coming months alongside an official music video.

Spain’s Junior Eurovision 2024 representative will join Estonia’s Annabelle Ats from Estonia, Bjarne from Germany, Ana Vanchevska and Aleksej Ivanovski from North Macedonia and Victoria Nicole from Portugal as the artists who have already been confirmed for this years contest.

This years Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place at Caja Mágica in Spain’s capital, Madrid on Saturday 16th November, bringing the contest back to a Saturday for the first time since 2015.

To date, 14 countries have confirmed their participation in this years contest: Armenia, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malta, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands and Ukraine. Albania, who participated in the 2023 contest has yet to make any announcement on this years contest.

Just a few weeks ago, the United Kingdom confirmed they would be withdrawing from the contest this year, mainly due to the contest changing to Saturday evening, and low viewing figures for the 2022 and 2023 contests.

Do you think we will be getting a male or female singer for Spain at Junior Eurovision 2024? Do you think we could see a duo, or even a group representing Spain? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
