Seven days ago, the smallest country taking part in the contest opened applications for Eurovision 2023. The San Marinese Government has revealed that over 80 singers have already applied to compete in the San Marinese selection for the 67th Eurovision Song Contest

But that’s just the beginning! Contestants have until the 20th of January to apply. They will have to provide the original song they will present for the show, as well as a cover of their choice.

Una Voce Per San Marino will be divided into 5 semi-finals and the Grand Final. The shows will take place on  25th February atTeatro Nuovo in San Marino. Here are the rules for Una Voce Per San Marino 2023 to get more details.

60 artists will qualify for the final: 3 semi-finals will be open to international artists, a fourth series will bring together local singers. Finally, a “second chance round” will allow the selection of certain artists who will join the list of 20 finalists. There will no longer be any artists automatically selected for the final because of their fame.

Last year, nearly 585 artists applied to represent San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest. Achille Lauro won with the song “Stripper”. The singer also applied to Sanremo with the song “Domenica”, but finished in 14th place, just as he did in Eurovision.
