When The Sun Goes Down- Lyrics

Yeah, I don’t wanna be alone, I don’t wanna be alone tonight
But I’d rather be alone if you ain’t in my zone it’s fine
No more wasting my time, now I’m focusing my mind alright
Hear the ring on my phone leave a message at the tone, bye bye

Coz I’ve seen way too many women
That go for the wrong type of guys
They only call them when the evening comes (only call them in the evening, baby)
Their true colours come out in the light

So will you love me in the morning
Will you love me when the sun goes down
Will you touch me in a right way
Will you be there will you stick around
Coz I don’t wanna get involved with
If you’re only gonna run and hide
Will you love me on my worst days
Love me baby when the sun goes down
Will you love me in the morning
Will you love me in the morning
As long as baby when the sun goes down
Will you love me in the morning
Will you love me in the morning
As long as baby when the sun goes down

(And here I go)

Never could lead me on never could lead me on alright (lead me on my baby)
No more lies way to strong, yeah, I know my right from wrong alright (I know my right from wrong my baby)
And I know what I want, yeah, I got it on my own alright (I know what I want oh yeah)
Coz I’m the type of girl you can drag through hell and I still come out the right side

So will you love me in the morning
Will you love me when the sun goes down
Will you touch me in a right way
Will you be there will you stick around
Coz I don’t wanna get involved with
If you’re only gonna run and hide
Will you love me on my worst days
Love me baby when the sun goes down
Will you love me in the morning
Will you love me in the morning
As long as baby when the sun goes down
Will you love me in the morning
Will you love me in the morning
As long as baby when the sun goes down

Hey Baga girls, look at me
How d’ya like my battered sausage, chippy tea?
I’m serving up a dish, Saara serving Finn
Channeling Liza, maybe this time we’ll win
Iconic duo much better than rain
On me (what?) spray the champagne
Miss Saara Aalto & Baga Chipz
All you ladies do it like this

Coz I’ve seen way too many women
That go for the wrong type of guys
They only call them when the evening comes
Their true colours come out in the light

So will you love me in the morning
Will you love me when the sun goes down
Will you touch me in a right way
Will you be there will you stick around
Coz I don’t wanna get involved with
If you’re only gonna run and hide
Will you love me on my worst days
Love me baby when the sun goes down
Will you love me in the morning
Will you love me in the morning
As long as baby when the sun goes down
Will you love me in the morning
Will you love me in the morning
As long as baby when the sun goes down

Furthermore, Saara has also left record label Warner Finland, and moved to her own label No Fear Music!  She is now free to do what she wants, when she wants. Saara has already released several songs, through this label. And we’re hoping for many more!

Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest

Finland’s Eurovision history dates back to 1961 when they first debuted in the contest, and they have taken part in 53 editions ever since. Finland has come last in the contest 11 times, with the latest being in 2019, with Look Away by Darude ft. Sebastian Rejman. In 2006, however, band Lordi won the contest with Hard Rock Hallelujah, which brought the contest to Helsinki in 2007. Finland’s most memorable entries include Leave Me Alone by Hanna Pakarinen, Marry me by Krista SIgfrieds, Blackbird by Norma John and Monsters by Saara Aalto. Aksel was chosen to fly the Finnish flag at Eurovision 2020, but the contest was cancelled.
