Russia will choose thier representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on the 25th September via a national final.
The Russian act for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be chosen 50 % by jury vote and 50 % online voting. Online voting will start from the moment they announce the finalists, and will finish when the show begins. It will be opened again during the broadcast of the final, making it impossible for the winner to be leaked before the broadcaster.
Last year, Russia were represented by Tatyana Mezhentseva and Oorzhak Denberel who sang their song “A Time For Us”. They eventually finished in 13th place with 72 points. This is the first time that Russia has failed to make the top 10 in Junior Eurovision.
Who would you like to see in Russia’s national final? Do you think they will be able to produce a third winning entry? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
