Georgian broadcaster GPB have announced that Ranina will be returning to chose their representative for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This will be the fourth year in a row that Ranina will take place. All persons interested in applying for Ranina 2021 can fill out this application form.

As of yet, no details have been revealed about this years edition of Ranina. Since it’s debut in 2018, the show has been used to find Georgia’s singer only, with their songs being internally selected at a later date. Will this be the case for 2021? We shall have to wait and see.

Georgia made their Junior Eurovision debut in 2007, and have since gone on to become one of the most successful countries in the contest. They have won three times (2008, 2011, 2016) and have achieved a handful of top 5 and top 10 placings as well. They have used a mix of national finals and internal selections to chose their representatives for Junior Eurovision, with Ranina being introduced in 2018.
