Eurowizja TVP have posted on Facebook that the Polish song for Eurovision 2021 will be released during the morning show “Pytanie na Śniadanie” (Question for Breakfast) on TVP2 this Friday, 12th March. It is expected we will be able to hear the song at the end of the show.

There have been many rumours about the potential Polish representative. Many fans want TVP to send Alicja Szemplińska, winner of the 2020 Polish national final “Szansa na Sukces. Eurowizja 2020” who was going to represent Poland in 2020 (before the contest was subsequently cancelled). The broadcaster has had many opportunities to date to announce if the 2021 representative would be Alicja, so many fans have now stopped believing that the chosen artist is Alicja.

The second possible artist was (Krystian) Ochman, the winner of the 11th edition of The Voice of Poland (the 10th one was won by Alicja), however he has said in an interview that he would go, but only in a duet with Alicja. Several days ago there have been rumours that either Cleo (Eurovision 2014) or Rafał Brzozowski (Polish NF 2017 and one of the hosts of the Junior Eurovision 2020) had received a proposition from TVP. After that Brzozowski posted a picture on Instagram from the recording studio and wrote that he is ‘preparing a surprise’.
