Poland: Tu Bije Serce Europy participants revealed!

February 15, 2023

The list of Polish National Final participants is finally here! Amongst them, there are some new faces as well as more established acts, well-known to Polish audience and Eurovison fans. They will perform on Sunday, February 26 at 5:30 CET in Transcolor Studios in Warsaw.

In September, Polish National Broadcaster announced the rules of the National Final that mentioned January 25 as a deadline for applying. Since then, TVP extended the application period to February 10 with the announcement of participants no later than February 15. According to TVP, the change was requested by artists and music labels, asking for more time to prepare their songs.

The other thing that changed was the name – the rules first mentioned Krajowe Eliminacje to change it back to Tu Bije Serce Europy (Here Beats the Heart of Europe) known from last year’s selection. The final will also, once again, use a subtitle Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję! (We are choosing a hit for Eurovision).

Today TVP announced Tu Bije Serce Europy participants in their morning show Pytanie na Śniadanie (A Question for Breakfast) and the list includes:

  • Ahlena – Booty
  • Blanka – Solo
  • Dominik Dudek – Be Good
  • Felivers – Never Back Down
  • Yan Majewski – Champion
  • Natasza – LIFT U UP
  • Maja Hyży – Never Hide
  • Jann – Gladiator
  • Alicja Szemplińska – New Home
  • Kuba Szmajkowski – You Do Me

Although some songs from the list are already published, the rest will be released in the upcoming days.

Tu Bije Serce Europy will take place on Sunday, February 26 at 5:30 CET in Transcolor Studios in Warsaw, in which many local TV shows, including You Can Dance or Poland’s Got Talent are being recorded. For the first time, Polish National Final will not be organized in TVP’s headquarters.
