The submission window for Israel’s Eurovision 2021 selection process has closed in the last few days and it has been reported that around 220 songs have been submitted.  Eden Alene, previously selected for Eurovision 2020, has already been confirmed as the artist who will represent Israel in 2021.

The selection process for 2021 had already been announced by KAN Israel earlier in the year.  From the list of submitted songs, as shortlist of 16 will be posted online in November for a period of public voting.  In early 2021, the 8 most popular songs will then be brought to two live televised semi-finals of 4 songs each.  Eden Alene will not perform the songs at the semi-finals.

The final 4 successsul songs will then proceed to a live final in which Eden will perform all the songs to determine the final selection!
