It has been confirmed that Noa Kirel will be singing "Unicorn" at Eurovision 2023.
The news has been confirmed by Israeli broadcaster KAN on their social media and by Ran Boker, a journalist for Isrsaeli news website, Ynet.
The song has been written by Noa herself, alongside DJ Yinon Yahel, Mai Sfadia and Doron Madali who co-wrote Toy with Netta in 2018.
“Unicorn” has been chosen as Israel’s official Eurovision 2023 entry out of numerous songs that Noa and her team have been working on over the last few months. It is expected to be released in March.

Noa Kirel was initially confirmed as Israel’s Eurovision 2023 representative back in July 2022; however, the young artist was quick to shut this down, stating that her Eurovision participation was still a “maybe“.
It wasn’t until August 10th that Noa was officially confirmed as Israel’s Eurovision 2023 representative, as she accepeted Kan’s proposal to represent her country in Liverpool.
This year sees Israel selecting both their Eurovision representative and song internally for the first time since 2012. Last year, Israel turned to the X Factor to find both their Eurovision representative and song.
Michael Ben David was crowned the winner with “I.M”, and went on to finish in 13th place in semi final 2 at Eurovision 2022 in Turin.
