This is the Nordic Eurovision Pre-party calling...
That’s right, Eurovision fans all of Europe and beyond will be thrilled to discover that the Nordics will be hosting their very first Eurovision Pre-party for the 2024 season. The competing Nordic countries at Eurovision including Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Sweden have treated fans to some of the most memorable & entertaining entries of all time since the contest first began in 1956.
Therefore, it seems only right that a Eurovision Pre-party is to be introduced in the Nordic region in the build up to next year’s Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Malmö, Sweden in May 2024. It has been revealed that the first ever Nordic Eurovision Pre-party is due to be held on Sunday 14th April 2024 at the Berns Boutique Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden from 19:00 to 00:30.
It has also been announced that a different Nordic city will host the pre-party each year, to allow more accessibility for Nordic Eurovision fans across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Iceland. Even Eurovision fans in non-competing Nordic countries such as Greenland and the Faroe Islands will be keen to get involved with the upcoming action.
The talented team behind the Nordic Eurovision Party shared their excitement in a recent interview expressing, “After having won the contest a total of 14 times (Sweden at 7 wins, Denmark and Norway at 3 wins and Finland at 1) and giving the Europeans hits each year, we are ready and happy to invite Europe to the first Nordic Eurovision Party.” The Nordic Eurovision party will be held in addition to other cities across Europe that typically host pre-Eurovision parties such as Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Tel-Aviv, and London.
Similarly to other Eurovision pre-parties, entries for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be in attendance in addition to previous Nordic Eurovision icons. Accredited press for the Nordic Eurovision Party will have the incredible opportunity to speak with the contestants of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 at the “Meet the Press” event during the Nordic pre-party weekend.
There will be two different tickets for the Nordic Eurovision Party;
- Eurofans Tickets (early entry, standing, collector’s lanyards included) are priced around 800SEK (limited availability).
- General Entrance (standing) priced at 600SEK.
- OGAE members will be able to secure a limited amount of General Entrance tickets at a reduced price.
