New details on Eurovision 2021 announced!

The EBU has once again ensured that Eurovision 2021 will go on no matter that. Today in a press conference Eurovision’s producer Sietse Bakker announced 4 ways for Eurovision 2021 to continue. 

  • A: A normal Eurovision including 9 shows from Rotterdam with a packed venue, delegations in Rotterdam, numerous activities in and around Rotterdam.
  • B: A socially distant Eurovision Song Contest. There would still be 9 shows, but with a limited audience. and smaller delegations.
  • C: A Eurovision with travel restrictions. might some, most or all delegations, they will perform in their own countries, with the show coming together in Rotterdam
  • D: A lock-down show. There will be no audience, and all participants perform in studio’s in their own countries., with the show coming together in Rotterdam

A final decision on the format will be made in the early months of 2021.

Furthermore it has also been announced that the hosts: Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley, Jan Smit, and online host Nikkie de Jager will also return. As it was already announced , the same stage will be kept for Eurovision 2021.  and finally the theme Open Up will also be used for Eurovision 2021!
