Russian broadcaster Channel 1 has confirmed a national final will be held on the 8th March at 8pm local time! A trailer was released by the broadcaster confirming the selection method and the first national final since 2012.
Who will represent Russia?
The trailer states “the whole country will choose WHO will represent Russia at Eurovision 2021”. There is no further news on how many acts will compete or whether Eurovision 2020 entrants Little Big will return.
Already confirmed performers?
A number of stars have confirmed they will perform at the national final. The stars include Moldova’s Eurovision 2021 hopeful Natalia Gordienko and her Russian superstar producer Philipp Kirkorov. Another name includes Eurovision 2004 entrant Yulia Savicheva. All revealed the news on their social media accounts
