We had the artist, now we have the song and the music video! It has been previously announced that Petar Aničić would be representing Serbia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Warsaw this November with the song Heartbeat. On Friday 9th October, the song and the music video for the song got released. You can check out the music video below.
Petar Aničić wrote the song alongside Leontina Vukomanović, whilst the composers of the song are Vladimir Graić and Nemanja Filipović. The music video was filmed in Belgrade, mostly by the Belgrade Waterfront and at Ada Ciganlija, which is where the singer mainly practices his rowing, as seen in the music video.
Serbia debuted in Junior Eurovision in 2006, where their song Učimo strane jezike gave them a respectable placing of 5th with 81 points. Since then, their best placing came in the following year with Nevena Božović’s Piši mi and in 2010 with Sonja Škorić’s Čarobna noć, where they both came in 3rd place. Last year, they were represented by Darija Vračević, where she sang Podigni glas (Raise Your Voice), where she came a respectable 10th place with 109 points in Gliwice, Poland.
What do you think of Serbia’s song? Does it make your heart beat? Tell us in the comments below!
