Miki Núñez, who represented Spain at Eurovision 2019 with his song La Venda, will be hosting a musical talent show “COVER” on TV3, the primary Catalan television channel.
The aim of the talent show is to discover music talent using social media and the internet. Interested participants would have to record their covers of famous Catalan songs sung by ls Pets, Búhos, Els Amics de les Arts, Nil Moliner, and Suu between the 8th and 18th October and upload the video on Youtube or Instagram with the hashtag #CoverTV3. Participants are also required to register their participation on TV3’s website.
The talent show is set to premiere on 19th October 2020. The 25 best covers selected by the judges, Elena Gadel, Marc Bala, and Manu Guix, will be featured on the premiere in a semi-final format. A selected number of covers will qualify for the finals and the winner of the talent show will be decided by audience voting. A grand prize of €10,000 is up for grabs for the winner of the show.
