The Austrian artistic director will help the Spanish candidate for Eurovision 2021.
The announcement was made by the Spanish broadcaster, RTVE. Marvin Dietmann is an international reference in choreography and staging.
He has worked for the Austrian delegation on several occasions and he directed, among others, the staging for “Rise like a Phoenix” by Conchita Wurst, winner of the contest in 2014.
Marvin Dietmann is also due to work on the staging of the Austrian and Cypriot candidates this year. He will work to create Blas Canto’s staging for his upcoming entry.
The Austrian director was enthusiastic about working with Blas. “Blas has a strong presence on stage and an incredible voice, which are the two most important qualities for an artist. In addition, the stories of his songs are exciting and will leave us all speechless“, highlighted the creative.
Spain is the only Big 5 country so far that has chosen to select the same candidate in 2021 as in 2020. The Spanish selection continues and should choose the song of its artist later among two completely different songs.
