MARO to be joined by five backing vocalists in Turin, including two Festival da Canção 2022 finalists

Five backing vocalists will join MARO on stage at Eurovision 2022.

Portuguese broadcaster RTP have announced that their Eurovision 2022 representative MARO will be joined on stage in Turin by five backing vocalists, including two Festival da Canção 2022 finalists.

  • Beatriz Fonseca
  • Beatriz Pessoa (11th place in Festival da Canção 2018 semi final one with “Eu Te Amo”)
  • Carolina Leite
  • Diana Castro (4th place in the Festival da Canção 2022 final with “Ginger Ale”)
  • Milhanas (7th place in the Festival da Canção 2022 final with “Corpo de Mulher”.)

MARO won the right to represent Portugal at Eurovision 2022 in Turin after a convincing Festival da Canção win. She will perform “Suadade, Saudade” in the first half of the first semi final on May 10th.
