Måneskin go platinum in Italy with Zitti e buoni!

Italy’s Eurovision 2021 representative Måneskin have officially gone platinum with their song Zitti e buoni in Italy. The platinum certification signifies the song has sold more than 70,000 domestically in Italy itself and Zitti e buoni peaked at number 2 on the Italian music charts. The song has achieved over 15 million streams on Spotify.

Måneskin released their second studio album Teatro d’ira: Vol. 1 which charted at number one domestically and has been certified as gold in Italy; meaning 25,000 copies have been sold. The album also peaked at number 13 in the Swiss charts. The album includes Zitti e buoni and Vent’anni, that also achieved platinum status in Italy.

Other Sanremo 2021 songs sucess?

Given the popularity of the Sanremo Music Festival in Italy, it means other songs have onto achieve great success domestically and internationally. As previously reported, a number of songs charted in the Billboard’s global Excl. U.S. chart. Three other songs from Sanremo 2021 have gone onto achieve platinum certification in Italy including Colapesce & Dimartino, Francesca & Fedez, and Madame. Furthermore, two acts achieved number one singles in Italy and these were Francesca & Fedez and Colapesce & Dimartino.
