| December 17, 2020

Manel Navarro’s path to Eurovision was not perfect and he finished last. However, the artist has continued working as a singer-songwriter and is giving Spanish music great creations. The latest one is Quiéreme (Love me), a romantic song together with the singer Bely Basarte.

Manel Navarro shows us his most personal side and most sincere feelings in Quiéreme.

“This song is very special to me because I wrote it at a difficult time in my life: my dog died and my partner left me”, the singer-songwriter confesses to Spanish television.

An emotional journey with the Spanish singer Bely Basarte, who assures that she fell in love with the song in the first listen and accepted the collaboration with Manel without thinking twice. “I think the lyrics of the song can refer to anyone’s life: we have all gone through difficult times, we have needed to be forgiven and we have needed to forgive others and ourselves. I have seen myself reflected in all the words”, Bely explains about the song written by Manel.

This song will be included in “Cicatriz” (Scar), his next album and which will be published in the first half of 2021. “The title of the album refers to that hard time in my life, full of scars, memories that never go to forget but they are all overcome”, Manel tells.
