The submissions window has opened for MESC 2026.

Maltese broadcaster PBS has officially opened the submissions window for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026. All interested artists, authors and composers are invited to submit their songs to the broadcaster for consideration.

The submissions window will be open for seven days, and will close on Sunday 23rd November at 23:59 CET. All entries must be submitted electronically via the official MESC website, www.maltaeurovision.mt.

The semi finalists for MESC 2026 are expected to be announced on December 1st, with the live televised semi final taking place on January 15th. The final will take place on January 17th.

Last week, three-time MESC participant and one of Malta’s leading singer-songwriters, Aidan, announced that he would like to return to MESC in 2026, saying he is “More prepared, more certain, and more determined… This time, I feel more prepared than I have ever been. More certain in who I am as an artist. More confident in the story I want to tell. And more determined than ever to stand on that stage. Not just for myself, but for every single person who has believed in me over the last five years.”

Miriana Conte brought Malta back to the Eurovision grand final this year for the first time since 2021 with her song “Serving”. She finished in 17th place with 91 points.
