Belgian media are reporting that Loïc Nottet is returning to the upcoming season of The Voice Belgique as a coach. The season is scheduled to start filming in October and broadcasting to start in 2021.
Loïc auditioned for the show back in 2013, with a cover of Rhianna’s Diamonds. He landed in Beverly Jo Scott’s team, and went on to finish in 2nd place, behind winner Laurent Pagna.
Whilst there has been no official word as yet from broadcaster RTBF about Loïc’s participation, it has been announced that his former coach Beverly Jo Scott has signed on for the next season, having last appeared in 2018.
In November 2014, RTBF announced Loïc had been selected to represent Belgium at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. His song Rhythm Inside, co-written with Beverly Jo Scott, finished in 4th place. This was Belgium’s best result since finishing in 2nd place in 2003.
