Armenia’s dynamic duo, Ladaniva, brought their infectious pop/folk fusion to life during the final rehearsal of the day, treating audiences to a spirited performance of “Jako.” Comprising singer Jaklin and French instrumentalist Louis, Ladaniva’s rendition of “Jako,” sung in Armenian, is a celebration of rejecting stereotypes, embracing freedom, and staying true to oneself.

Drawing inspiration from their lively official music video, Ladaniva infused the Malmö stage with sass, energy, and authenticity. Jaklin’s costume and trademark plaits added to the vibrant atmosphere, complemented by an island of brightly colored plinths in the center of the stage, showcasing Ladaniva’s band playing instruments on different levels.

During the second half of the performance, captivating LED wall and cube graphics adorned with Armenian motifs and playful imagery—featuring lots of chickens—created a whimsical backdrop reminiscent of a lively farmyard scene. The entire presentation was a riot of color and energy, leaving a lasting impression as the perfect conclusion to another exciting day at the Malmö arena.
