It has been confirmed by Slovenian broadcaster RTVSLO that Karin Zemljič will be joining Ana Soklič on stage at Eurovision 2021 as her backing vocalist.
Eurovision 2021 will mark the fourth time that Karin Zemljič has performed on the Eurovision stage as a backing vocalist. She has previously provided backing vocals for Maraaya in 2015, ManuElla in 2016 and Lea Sirk in 2018.
After the cancelled 2020 contest, Ana Soklič was confirmed as Slovenia’s 2021 representative on May 18th. There will be a special EMA show on February 27th, where Ana will present her Eurovision entry. The show will also coincide with the 60th anniversary of Slovenia’s participation in Eurovision.
